As the Morning Glory Blossoms (aka my Bio)
My first appearance on stage was at the age of five, when during a Broadway performance of PETER PAN starring Sandy Duncan, I stood up and told Captain Hook to walk the plank, to roars of applause and the desire to perform was born.
My childhood was spent in moving boxes from the San Francisco Bay Area to NYC, to suburbs of Detroit to Maui. My father lived in Hong Kong for 14 years and by 9 I had traveled through China and Europe leading to writing my first play based on those travels and my friends.
I earned a Theater degree at CU Boulder, with layovers at BADA in London and the Summer Training Congress at A.C.T in SF before landing in Los Angeles.
My first film role was as a CIA secretary alongside Jackie Chan in WHO AM I? My first memorable role was in the critically acclaimed Sundance sleeper hit CHUCK & BUCK starring Chris Weitz and Mike White, directed by Miguel Arteta.
As a writer, I've written and doctored multiple feature screenplays. Most recently a play I wrote, WHAT MATTERS, was part of the New Works Series with Emerging Artists Theatre Company, Off Broadway. It is currently being developed further and as a feature. Other projects include a solo-show, a TV comedy pilot and a Female Driven Comedy Feature in various stages of development..
Glory can be seen on Netflix recurring co-star on Season 2 of USA’s THE SINNER opposite Bill Pullman and Tracy Letts.
I'm based in West Hollywood and Brooklyn.
Outside entertainment I can be found cooking bi-coastally and in the Caribbean to make a buck, taking The CLASS by Taryn Toomey, meditating daily with ice packs on my feet, making fresh Cashew milk Matcha lattes and my signature Sweet Glory Granola, planning ski trips, learning to be anti-racist, staying involved with social/climate justice and cursing at political podcasts on long walks.
